Honda has recalled more than 205,000 SUVs due to a fuel leak, which might raise the danger of fire.

The recall affects approximately 205,760 automobiles and was announced on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website. The recall applies to select 2023-2024 Passport and 2023-2025 Pilot automobiles.

According to the NHTSA, the fuel filler neck tube and pipe may detach, causing fuel to leak.

«A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire,» the U.S. car safety agency said.

Dealers will examine and repair the fuel filler neck tube and pipe as needed for free, according to the notice.

Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed on January 6, 2025. Owners can also reach Honda Customer Service at 1-888-234-2138.
