Luigi Mangione accused with murder in the UnitedHealthcare shooting

According to an online court docket, Manhattan prosecutors charged Luigi Mangione with murder and other offenses. Mangione, 26, was initially designated as the only person of suspicion in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

Mangione was detained on forgery charges in Pennsylvania on Monday evening after being questioned by officials, according to a police briefing.

His bail was refused at his Monday arraignment, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for December 23.
